FU Zhongwang

Born in January 1956 in Wuhan, Hubei, FU graduated in 1982 from the Sculpture Department of the Decorative Arts Faculty at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. He has served as the Director of the Sculpture Creation and Research Studio and as the Vice President of the Hubei Fine Arts Institute.

He is currently the Director of the Hubei Museum of Art, the Deputy Director of the Art Museum Professional Committee of the Chinese Museums Association, an Executive Council Member of the China Sculpture Society, a member of the Sculpture Art Committee of the China Artists Association, and the Director of the Sculpture Art Committee of the Hubei Artists Association. He has planned and organized numerous large-scale exhibitions and academic exchange activities. His works have been featured in many specialized exhibitions both domestically and internationally, with some pieces being permanently collected by the National Art Museum of China, the Guangdong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, the Austrian Sculpture Association, and the Public Art Professional Institution in St. Petersburg, Germany.
